Zachary Piper Solutions in the Raleigh, NC area is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (IaC) with TS/SCI for a world-leading technology organization.

This hybrid role leads the design, development, and implementation of scalable Infrastructure as Code solutions to support secure, cloud-native platforms. You will design IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, build reusable modules, and collaborate across software, DevOps, and security teams to enable reliable cloud deployments and Kubernetes-based workloads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• CI/CD and version control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code.
• Architect reusable infrastructure modules across environments.
• Collaborate with software, DevOps, and security teams to enable reliable cloud deployments.
• Support Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.
• Develop automation tooling, including Python-based solutions, to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and operational best practices.
