Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead technical discovery and pre-sales engagements across Hybrid Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Enterprise Service Management. You will drive modernization initiatives with emphasis on Platform Engineering, DevOps, IaC, and automation, partnering with clients and engineering teams to design innovative solutions.
The role requires strong communication with engineers and executives, deep cloud expertise
Qualifications
- 8+ years in solution architecture or pre-sales in technology services
- Experience delivering complex technology solutions from discovery through implementation
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC practices
- Experience with observability, security governance, API management, and modern software delivery
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and translate requirements into business solutions
- Act as trusted technical advisor in pre-sales engagements
- Design innovative solutions across cloud, security, data/AI, and platform engineering
- Provide technical guidance and architecture strategies throughout the opportunity lifecycle
- Develop technical proposals, SOWs, and BOMs aligned with customer needs
- Collaborate with vendors, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure outcomes
- Position managed services and enterprise transformation initiatives
