Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a hybrid Sr. Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to join a finance firm in Bethesda, MD. The Sr. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable Azure infrastructure.

The role requires leading Azure environments, implementing IaC, and collaborating across teams to enable cloud-native and serverless solutions. Competitive compensation includes bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or cloud engineering, with Azure emphasis.
• Hands-on IaC expertise and deep knowledge of Azure networking, resiliency, and security.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and day-to-day management of Azure environments.
• Develop automated provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
• Design secure cloud networking for platform services and workloads.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery aligned with business continuity.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations on cloud-native/serverless solutions.
