Job summary

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of a complex IaaS environment across Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and cloud platforms.

You will partner with infrastructure teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available technology solutions while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives in Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering
• 5+ years of enterprise server admin experience
• Experience with Oracle Linux and Windows Server
• VMware vSphere and virtualized infra experience
• Active Directory Services administration
• DB concepts & SQL scripting
• Networking fundamentals, DNS/DHCP, IIS support
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administer and support VMware-based VMs, Linux and Windows Server environments
• Troubleshoot complex server and infra issues within SLAs
• Manage Active Directory and user access controls
• Monitor platform performance and ensure high availability
• Support cloud-hosted and on-prem infrastructure
• Author and follow operational procedures and DR plans
