Job summary

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage an enterprise IaaS environment. You will ensure availability, security, and performance across Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities include AD, DNS, DHCP, and service monitoring, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams for scalable infrastructure. A strong scripting and automation background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise server environments in production.
• Strong experience with Oracle Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere and virtualized infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure environments, including VMware and Windows Server operating systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex server, infrastructure, and application issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support Active Directory Services infrastructure.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, and system health to maximize availability.
• Support incident management and root-cause analysis activities.
