Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Sr. Electrical & Instrument Technician to oversee installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment at the hydrogen plant in Woodbine, GA.

The role requires strong field diagnostics, cross-functional communication, and adaptability to urgent outages. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation, familiarity with LC/SCADA controls, and experience with high and medium voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance.
• Ability to interpret schematics and P&ID diagrams.
• NFPA 70E training preferred or to be completed.
• HV safety training per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive/corrective maintenance for electrical/instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot low/medium/high voltage systems and control circuits.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for outages.
• Enter work orders and maintenance plans into CMMS.
• Mentor junior E&I technicians and trainees.
