Job summary

H+M Industrial EPC is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Design Lead in Pasadena, TX. The role involves leading design efforts for heavy industrial projects, coordinating multi-discipline teams, and ensuring compliance with NEC and client specs.

The candidate will develop execution strategies, supervise task assignments, and refine drawings and packages for submittals, while providing guidance to junior designers and supporting field activities during construction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of I&E design experience utilizing AutoCAD with at least 5+ years as a lead designer.

Responsibilities

• Development of execution strategy and supervision of tasks related to project execution.
• Development and accuracy of drawings and drawing packages.
• Ensure adherence to project design budget and schedule.
• Submittal of project deliverables per schedule and client specifications.
• Coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders to form multi-discipline design packages for construction.
• Provide guidance to junior designers and perform field support during construction.
• Check/verify drawings produced by drafters and peer designers.
• Resolve project challenges with project engineering and client personnel.
