Job summary

Arkema's Beaumont Plant seeks a Senior I&E Engineer to lead instrumentation and electrical initiatives that support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. You will drive capital projects, optimize control systems, and mentor engineers on site.

As a senior technical resource, you will collaborate with Engineering, Reliability, Maintenance, Operations and corporate teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and provide technical leadership across the plant.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Instrumentation project engineering and design experience required.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, electrical systems, and industrial troubleshooting.
Experience supporting DCS and PLC-based control systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead I&E capital projects from design through construction, commissioning, and startup.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instrumentation, analyzers, controls, PLCs, DCS, electrical systems, and plant utility assets.
Drive reliability and continuous improvement initiatives through root cause investigations, performance analysis, and execution of reliability projects.
Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Reliability teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Mentor and develop I&E personnel while supporting turnarounds, training, and site-wide technical initiatives.
