Job summary

Arkema Beaumont Plant is seeking a Senior I&E Engineer to lead instrumentation and electrical initiatives that support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This role drives capital projects, supports process control systems, improves electrical reliability, and provides technical leadership across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Instrumentation project engineering and design experience required.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, electrical systems, and industrial troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting DCS and PLC-based control systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&E capital projects from design through construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instrumentation, analyzers, controls, PLCs, DCS, electrical systems, and plant utility assets.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement initiatives through root cause investigations, performance analysis, and execution of reliability projects.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Reliability teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Mentor and develop I&E personnel while supporting turnarounds, training, and site-wide technical initiatives.
