Zusammenfassung

Energy Transfer oversees the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Process Control Systems for reciprocating, electric and turbine natural gas compressor units. You will work with field operating personnel daily to ensure safe and reliable operation of pipeline facilities and maintain a high level of expertise across the team.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in an engineering related field or a Bachelor’s Degree plus six years of experience in gas transmission.
• Two years of experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
• Past programming of PLCs and familiarity with Lookout, Wonderware or other HMI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and knowledge of procedures and standards.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and implement control systems (logic software and hardware) to meet system requirements in DeltaV, OPTO, and AllenBradley.
• Serve as lead on assigned projects or engineering tasks.
• Provide day-to-day DCS and PLC automation support.
• Create and maintain daily and custom automated production reports.
• Promote safety and maintain a safe working environment through active participation in safety programs.
• Develop or modify control logic to accommodate equipment changes and operating conditions.
• Develop and update SOPs for Asset Management Team members.
• Advise management on safety matters to ensure a safe environment.
• Participate in facility audits as a technical expert on local, state, and federal rules.
• Identify training resources for instrumentation and controls requirements and conduct some training.
