Job summary
Ever-Green Energy in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Technician to maintain, repair, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot plant control/measurement equipment across electrical, electronic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems. Role requires BAS/BMS, PLC, and HMI training with 3–5 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting, plus a valid driver’s license.
On-site duties include occasional off-hours support and collaboration with engineers and plant
Qualifications
- BAS/BMS, PLC, HMI and Instrumentation and Control formal training.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar industrial plant setting; strong in Instrumentation and Control.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Software and database maintenance: alarms, backups, and patching.
- Physical controller maintenance, inspections, and calibration.
- Field device maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation problems and maintain safe operations.
- Support a testing lab and ensure parts availability for plant controls.
- Respond to off-hour calls for plant emergencies.
- Lead or assist vendors in maintenance tests and diagnostics.
- Review modifications for compatibility with plant requirements.
- Plan control/installation work with engineering and operations.
- Support plant operations, including the Thermal Plant.
