Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Sunnyvale, TX seeks an Instrumentation/Control Technician to maintain plant instrumentation and control systems, perform calibration, and support safe, reliable operations. You will work under site management and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and documentation, with opportunities to advance through POSS/MASS testing and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or equivalent with related experience.
• High school diploma or GED with demonstrated relevant work history.
• Completion of Tier 2 within primary skill for position performance.
• Computer skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant instrumentation/control systems and perform calibration.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace plant equipment on shift.
• Develop and follow operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain power plant instrumentation systems.
• Enter work requests into the CMMS (Maximo) and coordinate with operations.
• Support start-up/shut-down activities and weekend coverage.
