Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Sunnyvale, Texas is seeking an I&C Technician to perform operations functions, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment under site management.

You will calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain power plant instrumentation and control systems, perform routine maintenance, overhauls, and assist in design and implementation of O&M projects, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or a relevant equivalent with 1 year of I&C technician experience or a high school diploma/ GED with 3 years related work experience.
• Tier 2 readiness within primary skill for position performance measures.
• Proficient computer-based skills and effective oral/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and document issues; assist in problem resolution on shift.
• Perform daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and installation of plant equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Develop and implement plant operating procedures and ensure safe operation.
