Job summary

TekWissen Group in Thacker Pass, NV seeks a Lead Instrumentation and Controls professional for a 12-month temporary onsite assignment. You will lead precommissioning and commissioning planning, coordinating with project management, engineering, construction, and clients to integrate startup plans and ensure schedules and requirements are met.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience in mining or extraction facilities, with strong PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years relevant experience.
• 7+ years in Precommissioning/Commissioning with supervisory role.
• Mining/Extraction process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Report to Thacker Pass Lead Instrument and Controls Startup Engineer.
• Oversee Instrument and Controls systems for the project.
• Coordinate testing activities from component to system level.
• Develop work packages for precommissioning/commissioning.
• Prepare startup manuals and testing procedures.
• Manage subcontracting for commissioning support.
