Job summary

ESS, Inc. is seeking an experienced CS CSU Specialists Professional to lead pre-commissioning and commissioning planning for the Thacker Pass project in Winnemucca, NV.

You will coordinate with project management, engineering, construction teams and clients to implement startup plans and testing activities. The role requires deep knowledge of Instrument and Controls systems, risk management, and detailed testing procedures, with the ability to drive schedule adherence and safety during all

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with substantial related experience.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with startup, commissioning, and operations in mining/processing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning planning activities.
• Develop and execute startup plans and testing procedures.
• Produce and manage project schedules and budgets for Instrument and Controls startup.
• Mentor and train client personnel as required by contract.
• Review designs and recommend safe, compliant startup practices.
