Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer in Colorado to lead a team of engineers and designers on large, complex water infrastructure projects. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer I&C systems, including DCS, SCADA and PLC process automation, and supervise field work and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Engineering, 15+ years of instrumentation and controls experience, a PE license or eligibility, and strong communication and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• PE license in Controls or Electrical in AZ or reciprocity or within 18 months.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel internationally occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, high-complexity I&C projects.
• Evaluate, specify, and engineer all I&C systems.
• Develop design sketches, diagrams, and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform QA/QC on projects and mentor staff.
• Serve as Engineer of Record.
• Prepare project scopes, Budgets, and schedules.
• Support field commissioning activities.
