OLH Inc. seeks a Principal Engineer – I&C in Aiken, SC to define scope and deliver quality solutions for challenging projects in the nuclear/process control arena. Two positions available, US citizenship required, duration 1 year with two 1 year renewal option.

Role requires leadership and deep I&C design experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines while adhering to SRNS processes and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in applicable science or engineering with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 8+ years, or BS with 10+ years.
  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, I&C engineering or PE registration.
  • 10 years of direct I&C design experience in nuclear/process chemical industries; PLCs and DCS experience.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation 2D CAD; ability to perform weekly field walk downs.

Responsibilities

  • Define scope of technical programs and develop quality solutions for complex problems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less senior professionals on tasks.
  • Incorporate advanced technical practices and coordinate with diverse disciplines.
  • Prepare plans with schedules, budgets and personnel requirements.
