Job summary

Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Engineer IV, I&C to lead engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades and new builds.

You will develop control system architectures, specifications, and modification packages, while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet safety, reliability, and performance goals. Ideal candidates have 18+ years in engineering with 8+ years in nuclear power, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, mechanical, nuclear, chemical, computer or process/controls engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 18 years of engineering experience; at least 8 years in nuclear power with digital/analog controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades and new projects.
• Develop specifications, modification packages, and control system architectures.
• Interface with multiple design disciplines and customer representatives.
• Mentor entry-level and junior engineers and manage project teams.
• Ensure compliance with NRC regulations and applicable codes and standards.
