Job summary

SHINE Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced Instruments and Controls (I&C) / Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, procurement, and testing of control systems and power distribution for the molybdenum-99 production facility. This on-site role in Janesville, WI oversees a team of engineers and ensures safety, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in instruments and controls or related discipline; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and inspire engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management.
• Working knowledge of electrical power distribution for normal and uninterruptible power for commercial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of I&C and electrical engineers for control systems, instrumentation, and power supply design and installation.
• Own design change control and configuration management for I&C and electrical systems; ensure licensing basis alignment.
• Oversee software quality assurance for digital I&C, including verification and validation.
• Interface with project managers to develop coherent requirements, plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee development of DCS, PLC, and DAQ systems; oversee instrument specification updates.
