Job summary

SHINE Technologies is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to design, develop, procure, install, and test control systems for the new medical isotope production facility in Janesville, WI. The I&C Engineer leads design interfaces, evaluates instruments, and coordinates with vendors and other engineers to meet safety and performance requirements.

Hybrid work arrangements will be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Knowledge of I&C hardware, software, and control theory.
• Ability to collaborate with vendors and multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead interfaces between stakeholders and the I&C team.
• Evaluate instruments and assist with design calculations and test plans.
• Coordinate vendor inquiries and equipment updates through procurement.
• Oversee integration of DCS, PLC, and DAQ systems with safety requirements.
• Prepare design documents and instrument specifications for commissioning.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and safety groups.
