Job summary

SHINE Technologies is seeking an Instruments and Controls (I&C) / Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, procurement, and testing of control systems and power for our NRC-regulated molybdenum-99 facility. You will guide a team of I&C and electrical engineers, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and project delivery.

The role requires extensive hands-on leadership, experience with DCS/PLC/DAQ, and strong communication within cross-functional teams to meet tight

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field; Electrical Engineering degree desirable.
• 10+ years’ experience in instruments and controls or related discipline, preferably leading an engineering team.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and inspire engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience in regulated environments such as nuclear power or similar.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems and power supply design and installation.
• Oversee safety classification, licensing basis, and regulatory compliance for I&C and electrical systems.
• Own design change control and configuration management; evaluate changes against licensing basis.
• Coordinate project requirements, plans, budgets, and schedules with stakeholders.
• Oversee development of DCS/PLC/DAQ systems and instrument selection; support commissioning and turnover.
