Job summary

Duke Energy Nuclear Fleet Corporate Design Engineering (CDE) is seeking an Electrical Engineer III or Senior I&C Design Engineer to support nuclear site projects at the Harris Nuclear Station in New Hill, NC. The role focuses on instrumentation and control design changes, relaying, digital systems, cyber security, and network infrastructure.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree with 4+ years (III) or 6+ years (Senior) of experience, plus required nuclear plant exposure.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree required.
• Master's degree may substitute for Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope, technical basis, installation and testing requirements for I&C design changes.
• Provide engineering guidance for problems of increasing scope and complexity.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and sketches for well-defined problems.
