Actalent is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for hypersonic test facilities, with emphasis on wind tunnel systems. You will guide MBSE adoption, define architecture, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet requirements and risk controls.

Based in Saint Paul, MN, this hybrid role offers involvement across design, testing, and validation, with opportunities to influence government contracts and safety-critical programs in aerospace and defense contexts.

Qualifications

MBSE-driven engineering across hypersonic test facilities.
Experience with SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler.
Proficiency in requirements development and management throughout lifecycle.
Experience with government contracts and aerospace/defense contexts.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize hypersonic test facilities, focusing on wind tunnel systems.
Integrate advanced testing methodologies and equipment into facility designs.
Collaborate with aerospace, mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineers to meet requirements.
Identify risks and translate into project and financial risk implications for PMs and leadership.
Apply MBSE to define and simulate system architectures for facilities.
Manage integration of subsystems to ensure cohesive, high-performing test facilities.
Maintain system-level requirements with traceability across the lifecycle.
Prepare technical reports, validation plans, and design documentation per standards and regulations.
