Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer to provide technical oversight for the DoW hypersonic program. You will guide multi-physics modeling, digital engineering, and data management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Modeling & Simulation or related areas.
• Demonstrated expertise in Digital Engineering principles, MBSE, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin concepts.
• Strong understanding of ML/AI integration with physics-based models.
• Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) in engineering workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to briefing to government program offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical expert on a portfolio of advanced M&S projects for government programs.
• Oversee development and integration of Digital Engineering elements for hypersonic test infrastructure modernization.
• Champion integration of AI/ML into physics-based models to enhance predictive capabilities.
• Ensure data continuity from requirements to design, simulation, test, and operations via the Digital Thread.
• Provide technical oversight for cloud-based digital engineering environments and M&S tool integration.
• Review M&S tools, methodologies, and validation plans to meet government fidelity requirements.
• Present technical assessments and recommendations to Chief Engineer and Government PM.
• Lead SETA team efforts to adopt GenAI and other digital tools to improve oversight.
