Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Senior Modeling & Simulations Engineer/Analyst to develop multi-fidelity, closed-loop simulations for hypersonic systems, sensors and communications.

You will build AFSIM models, deliver analytical products, and provide visualization-driven results to leadership. The role requires an active secret clearance, a strong background in C++, Python, and MATLAB, and experience with complex, classified programs.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and an active secret level security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant technical experience developing and integrating M&S software including C++, Python, MATLAB, and C.
• Experience on classified or special access programs.
• Experience with modern architecture frameworks, R&D, technology maturation and insertion, analysis, testing, and systems engineering.
• Must be highly motivated, ownership-focused, and able to communicate with leadership.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity models for simulations to support hypersonic systems development.
• Develop accurate computer modeling techniques for assessing hypersonic capabilities.
• Provide M&S analysis within the mission engineering construct.
• Model weapon system performance in real-world environments.
• Deliver metrics-based products and visualization using M&S tools including AFSIM.
• Provide technical integration of other systems and model data.
• Support studies and experimental efforts for communications technologies.
