Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to advance CFD/M&S tools in high-performance computing at Arnold Engineering Development Complex, Arnold AFB, TN. You will resolve complex problems, extend predictive capabilities to hypersonic regimes, and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve test facilities and hardware performance.

Open to internal and external candidates; U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering with relevant project/research experience.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB to automate simulations and workflows.
• Security clearance ability and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply CFD/M&S tools in HPC environments.
• Advance CFD capabilities for hypersonic/high-temperature regimes.
• Analyze CFD codes, implement improvements, validate results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for facility and hardware performance.
