Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an experienced Program Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead multiple data center and infrastructure projects from pre-construction to handover. The role oversees several Construction Project Managers, aligning deliverables with the company’s AI compute goals and infrastructure roadmap.

The position is full-time and primarily onsite in the Memphis, TN area with travel to support additional sites across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction PM/Program management, with data centers or mission-critical infrastructure.
• 5+ years of direct people management leading PMs, Superintendents, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with construction management tools and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direct management to a team of Construction Project Managers.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of large-scale construction programs for data centers and infrastructure.
• Align program deliverables with infrastructure roadmap and AI compute requirements.
• Manage program budgets, schedules, resources, and risks with master schedules and forecasts.
• Act as senior owner’s representative managing GC/subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Drive standardized processes, KPIs, dashboards, and cost-saving innovations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance to codes and high-reliability requirements.
• Lead cross-project issue resolution and recovery efforts.
