Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead mission-critical build efforts for a Memphis data center. This on-site role requires credibility, deep construction expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will own site relationships, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and report to central leadership. This role offers relocation considerations for additional US sites as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading large data center or mission-critical construction projects.
• Deep expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations.
• Ability to lead on-site with authority and build trust with vendors and teams.
• Experience managing programs with multiple vendors and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior construction representative for the Memphis data center.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from pre-construction to commissioning.
• Coordinate multiple vendors and ensure clear field-to-technical communication.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Drive progress, resolve roadblocks, and keep schedules on track.
• Align construction work with broader infrastructure goals across teams.
• Lead commissioning and resolve issues with partner teams.
• Provide regular KPI updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure design standards and quality criteria are met.
• Perform take-offs and field verifications to monitor progress.
