Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead mission-critical build efforts for a premier data center. As an on-site leader, you will manage relationships with contractors, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure safety and quality across the full project lifecycle.

You will own end-to-end project execution, drive on-time milestones, report via KPIs, and align work with SpaceXAI's infrastructure goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing large-scale data center or mission-critical construction projects.
• Deep expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations.
• Ability to lead on-site with authority and build trust with vendors and technical teams.
• Experience managing programs with multiple vendors and dynamic priorities.
• Strong communication across disciplines and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior construction representative for the Memphis data center.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from pre-construction to commissioning and controls.
• Coordinate multiple vendors and ensure clear field-to-technical communication.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safety, quality, and readiness.
• Drive progress to meet timelines and project milestones.
• Align schedules with broader infrastructure goals through cross-functional collaboration.
• Guide commissioning and resolve issues efficiently with teams.
• Provide regular KPI-based updates for stakeholders.
• Ensure design, quality standards, and change control are followed.
• Perform quantity take-offs and field verifications for reporting.
• Lead safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture.
• Adapt to evolving needs and support cross-functional partners.
