Job summary

Veeam Software seeks a Senior Engineer focused on hyperscale analytics to design and scale data platforms powering OLTP, OLAP, and large-scale analytics. You will build scalable pipelines and work with Spark, Flink, Presto/Trino, and Kafka Streams to support real-time transactions and AI-driven insights.

You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to create unified, secure, and cost-efficient data platforms, ensuring reliability and observability at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with data infrastructure or large-scale analytics.
• Deep experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark or Flink.
• Strong background in cloud-scale data architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data lakes/warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale OLTP/OLAP data platforms for real-time and analytical workloads.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines.
• Improve performance for petabyte-scale data with low-latency queries.
• Integrate with Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift and other storage/processing systems.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and cost efficiency across clusters.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams.
