JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design and run enterprise Hyper‑V infrastructure across global data centers. You will lead across engineering, operations, security, and capacity teams to deliver resilient virtualization services for thousands of workloads.

You will architect clusters, automate provisioning, and develop a C#/.NET 8 workload platform while mentoring teams and expanding AI-assisted automation with strong validation and security compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise or large-scale infra experience.
• Deep Hyper-V expertise: WSFC, live migration, S2D, virtual networking.
• Strong PowerShell skills for automation and tooling.
• Experience with performance auditing across compute, storage, networking and hypervisor layers.

Responsibilities

• Architect Hyper‑V cluster designs across global pools including WSFC, live migration, S2D, and vSwitch/SET topologies.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance enforcement, and decommissioning using PowerShell, DSC, and platform APIs.
• Develop and enhance a C#/.NET 8 workload management platform to scale operational workflows and orchestration.
• Benchmark compute and storage performance to guide capacity decisions.
• Diagnose full‑stack issues across compute, storage, networking, clustering, and hypervisor layers.
• Review server BOMs for Hyper‑V suitability and provide performance feedback.
• Harden environments with security teams and enforce platform baselines at scale.
• Document reference architectures and runbooks to improve repeatability and auditability.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and code reviews.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
• Promote AI-assisted practices to reduce recurring issues with auditable changes.
