Job summary

Topsoe is seeking a Senior Technical Service Engineer in Houston, TX. You will support hydroprocessing units, utilize proprietary models to analyze catalyst performance, and help forecast catalyst replacements for industrial plants.

The role requires relocation to the Houston area, US work authorization, and travel up to 60–90 days annually. You will collaborate with Account Managers and participate in conferences and technical meetings.

Qualifications

• Relocation to Houston area required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Refinery hydroprocessing experience.
• BS in Chemical Engineering.
• Data analytics and Excel proficiency.
• Travel up to 60–90 days per year within NA.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals and reports with Account Managers.
• Support troubleshooting cases.
• Participate in internal training and technical meetings.
• Contribute to development tasks.
• Advise clients on catalyst optimization.
• Represent Topsoe at conferences.
• Support bid process during technical-sales meetings.
• Supervise catalyst loading and unit start-up.
• Travel up to 60–90 days per year for on-site client work.
