Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a seasoned Field Operations Leader in Phoenix to oversee plumbing trades, drive strategic plans, and manage field staff across projects. You will coordinate fabrication, staffing, scheduling, and QA/QC, while aligning with safety protocols and company policies.

With 12+ years leading construction projects and union experience, you will mentor leaders, optimize field performance, and collaborate with PMs for successful project execution across data centers,

Qualifications

• Strong industry knowledge
• Excellent leadership and integrity
• Effective communicator at all levels of business
• Experience with trades (sheet metal, controls, air balance) and fabrication
• 12+ years of experience in construction leading projects
• Member of the local sheet metal union in good standing
• Experience with ACCO software stack including MS Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, ProCore, Bluebeam, Box

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all hydronics field activities to meet standards and productivity.
• Assist reports with resource management, team selection, foreperson assignment, scheduling, and QA/QC.
• Resolve issues, implement safety protocols, and enforce corporate policies.
• Plan project installation, participate in kickoff and progress meetings, coordinate with GC/PM.
• Review staffing, set goals for field personnel, and drive project execution.
• Continuously evaluate personnel performance and ensure high quality output.
• Coordinate labor deliveries, shop fabrication, and third‑party vendors.
• Review project labor budgets and foster labor relations with unions.
• Collaborate with PMs on project execution opportunities and best practices.
