Job summary

Actalent seeks a Hydronic Piping Superintendent to lead field crews on complex industrial projects. You will supervise pipefitters, welders, and subcontractors, develop detailed look-ahead schedules, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safe, on-time installation of hydronic systems across pharma, data centers, and manufacturing facilities.

You will drive safety, productivity, and quality, leveraging BIM/VDC tools and field coordination with engineers, project managers, and owners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industrial piping or mechanical construction experience.
• 3+ years in a Superintendent/General Foreman role overseeing field piping activities.
• Experience reading P&IDs, drawings, isometrics, and BIM models.
• Strong knowledge of safety requirements and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all hydronic and process piping field activities from mobilization through completion.
• Supervise foremen, pipefitters, welders, and subcontractors for safe, high-quality work.
• Develop daily/weekly work plans to support milestones and production goals.
• Manage labor productivity and manpower forecasting to align resources with project demands.
• Coordinate testing, flushing, cleaning, and startup activities for piping systems.
