Job summary

Schlumberger Limited is seeking a Hydrometallurgical Process Engineer to perform complex process engineering calculations and deliverables. This role interacts with interdisciplinary teams to meet project specifications, budgets, and schedules while applying knowledge of hydrometallurgical circuits, including ion exchange, solvent extraction, precipitation, and crystallization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering required.
• 7–10 years of process engineering experience in hydrometallurgy preferred.
• Experience with hydrometallurgical circuits (ion exchange, solvent extraction, precipitation).
• Familiarity with process simulations and P&IDs is desirable.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review client specs and develop design basis, specifications, and philosophies.
• Perform process engineering and deliverables per project schedule and budget.
• Size process systems, select materials, and assist with cost estimation during proposals.
• Lead others and provide inputs to other disciplines during projects.
• Support safety studies (HAZOP/HAZID/SIL) and 3D model reviews.
• Coordinate with piping for plot plans and prepare installation and maintenance manuals.
