Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support the development, scale-up, and optimization of chemical processing operations across lab, pilot plant, and project stages.

The role focuses on process design, testwork execution, scale-up activities, and operational readiness, with emphasis on wet processing, hydrometallurgy, or chemical plant operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of process engineering experience in hydrometallurgy or related industries.
• Experience with wet processing operations (leaching, filtration, slurry handling).
• Experience reviewing PFDs and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Support design, scale-up, and optimization from pilot to commercial scale.
• Perform mass and energy balances, process modelling, and evaluations.
• Plan and analyze testwork programs to improve performance.
• Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs and engineering docs.
• Collaborate with operations, labs, and project teams.
