Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead hydrogeologic site characterization and groundwater modeling in a nationwide network of offices. You will integrate hydrogeologic data, develop conceptual models, evaluate flow and dewatering, and support multi-disciplinary project teams.

This role also involves mentoring junior staff and advancing hydrogeologic capabilities. The position is full-time with offices in multiple locations and includes a performance-based bonus program and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology or related field is required.
8+ years of related professional experience.
Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desire to master skills in your discipline to become visible in the industry.
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Demonstrated ability to work on interdisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of project work through individual contribution and delegation to staff.
Develop technical scopes of work and proposals in your specialty area.
Apply codes, regulations, and professional standards to project work.
Coach and mentor staff to ensure high-quality execution.
Present technical information internally and externally.
Develop hydrogeologic site characterization plans and oversee field programs.
Evaluate data and develop conceptual site models with multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain knowledge of the state of hydrogeologic practice and industry connections.
