McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Applied Hydraulics Engineer to lead hydraulic engineering for large water resources projects, including dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure, and natural resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering required.
• 20 years of experience in hydraulic engineering.
• 10 years of project management experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with FERC regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops for project teams and clients.
• Ensure multiple work elements produced by staff meet quality standards and requirements.
• Initiate and lead marketing and business development pursuits.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients to support growth.
• Prepare and oversee project deliverables across reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Lead QA/QC reviews per client requirements and company policies.
• Manage project and organizational risks associated with deliverables.
