Morrison-Maierle in Boise, ID is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead water resources hydraulic structural projects. The role blends technical leadership with client collaboration, delivering design from concept through construction and focusing on infrastructure, fisheries, and hydropower applications.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 7+ years of experience, PE preferred, and proficiency with AutoCAD (REVIT preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, ABET-accredited.
• 7+ years of progressive structural engineering experience, hydraulic structures.
• Professional Engineer license preferred; independent technical leadership.
• Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of hydraulic structures projects.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and lead client meetings and design workshops.
• Lead construction-phase services and resolve design issues.
