Morrison-Maierle, 100% employee-owned, seeks a Senior Civil Water/Wastewater Engineer - Project Manager in Boise, ID to launch and grow a municipal practice. Lead project teams across piping, pumping, treatment, and distribution with autonomy to shape the office's direction.

You will drive service development, client growth, and team formation, leveraging an established firm infrastructure and existing client relationships to accelerate market presence.

Qualifications

• PE license required or ability to obtain licensure within a defined timeframe.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or construction engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive civil municipal design and construction experience.
• Advanced project management experience leading complex projects and teams.
• PMP certification is preferred alongside licensure.
• Experience growing or scaling a technical practice within a consulting firm (preferred).
• Mentor, review, or provide discipline guidance to engineers.
• Strong financial, profitability, and planning skills.
• Proficient with design software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Established local industry connections helpful for growth.
• Ability to develop client relationships and win new business.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for travel.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead growth strategy for the municipal water/wastewater practice.
• Establish technical standards, QA/QC, and best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape workload and growth in the region.
• Lead business development, client pursuit, and proposal development.
• Serve as market leader and technical representative locally.
• Act as technical authority for the discipline and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and manage full project lifecycles, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide coaching and development to direct reports.
• Establish a visible municipal presence in target markets.
• Deliver high-quality projects and demonstrate engineering excellence.
