Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to support high-volume testing of precision hydraulic and pneumatic components in a fluid power manufacturing environment.

In this hands-on role you will set up, operate and monitor test equipment, troubleshoot failures, document results, and support improvements to testing methods while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position is first shift with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4–6 years of relevant technical, testing, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and test procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to make timely decisions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume, repetitive testing of precision hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Conduct high-pressure fluid power testing for commercial and military products.
• Set up, operate, and monitor test equipment.
• Troubleshoot test failures and equipment issues.
• Analyze test results and identify potential problems.
• Follow established test procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Document testing activities and results accurately.
• Support improvements to testing methods, workflow, and production efficiency.
