Job summary

RiverTech, an Akima company, is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist III to provide entrance on duty (EOD) support and make pre-appointment recommendations in line with EO/CFR/SEAD policies and ICD 704. This hybrid role requires in-office presence in the DC/MD/VA area.

The specialist conducts security checks, prepares documentation, and supports the continuous evaluation program and RAPBACK initiatives. Strong knowledge of government security policies and experience rendering EOD

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and federal suitability knowledge.
• Minimum 4 years in personnel security experience.
• Experience rendering adjudicative or EOD recommendations.
• Familiarity with FIS, EO 12968/13526, CFRs, SEADs and ICD 704.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security checks and review personnel security information in databases.
• Assist with implementing security policies and the continuous evaluation program.
• Initiate background investigations using eAPPapp and obtain security questionnaires.
• Ensure questionnaire completeness and forward to DCSA or ISP.
• Provide assistance to applicants completing questionnaires in eAPP.
• Prepare documentation and briefings for the personnel security mission.
