Job summary

RiverTech, an Akima company, seeks an EHS Technician to support safety operations in Quantico, VA. The part-time role will focus on OSHA compliance, accident prevention, and safety program administration, including quarterly training via MS Teams.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of EHS experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a safety field, and a current SECRET clearance, with willingness to travel up to 75% as required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of direct hands-on environmental, health, and safety experience.
• US Citizen and valid driver's license required.
• Current SECRET security clearance and 75% travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility safety and compliance with SOH standards.
• Investigate mishaps and hazards to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and job hazard analyses.
• Prepare and deliver safety training sessions via MS Teams.
• Attend MILCON/renovation meetings to ensure OSHA compliance.
