Job summary

RiverTech in South Burlington, VT is seeking a Personnel Security Technician I to provide administrative support for DHS/USCIS security cases. The role includes data entry, electronic filing, fingerprint card handling, and QA reviews in a hybrid work setting.

You will report to the On-Site Supervisor and assist with FOIA requests and case management. The position requires a high school diploma, 5+ years of related experience, strong detail orientation, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong attention to detail.
• Minimum five years of related work experience in a security/admin setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Access and Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to obtain public trust and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and electronic case management for personnel security records.
• Perform data entry and maintain security databases; prepare ad-hoc reports.
• Monitor mailboxes, respond to inquiries, and assist with fingerprint card handling.
• Coordinate facility services and IT support, inventory, and general office duties.
• Assist with case file QA reviews and FOIA-related document preparation.
