The role emphasizes independent analysis, variance review, and postmortem assessments to inform management decisions. Hybrid work location is Minneapolis, with four days in-office and one day remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a financial or quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience.
• Experience in a financial or analytical role.
• Ability to complete financial modeling and financial analysis tasks using spreadsheets and/or other tools.
• Experience applying accounting and financial concepts to interpret and solve business problems.
• Capacity to build decision-support outputs.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to management.
• Ability to complete advanced financial modeling tasks and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine reporting with variance analysis and commentary around results.
• Conduct independent analysis using multiple data sources to identify root causes and track benefits.
• Develop and run forecasting and planning models, including variance analysis.
• Build models ranging from simple to sophisticated to forecast implications of business decisions.
• Conduct postmortem analyses to assess past decisions.
• Review forecasts and analyses with management in a clear, structured manner.
• Review CBAs and identify issues prior to approval.
