You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, onsite lab operations, and external vendors to bring MVP prototypes to life, contributing to faster, robust product cycles and well-documented processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Materials Science from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of engineering experience in R&D prototyping.
• Minimum of one year in product industrialization or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with cross-functional products blending power electronics, mechanical hardware, embedded hardware and firmware.
• Knowledge of industrial circuit breaker functionality and applications.
• Experience with DFSS tools and new product development phase-gate processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and rapidly prototype high-end power electronic based circuit protection technologies.
• Engage with onsite machine shop and external vendors to rapidly procure prototype parts.
• Develop and maintain parts incoming inspection procedure for prototype build.
• Rapidly bring MVP prototypes to life through hands-on prototype building and validation.
• Document prototype assembly procedures and troubleshooting.
• Generate and execute test programs and protocols to verify design criteria.
