Jefferson County's Business Innovation & Technology Division seeks a Senior GIS Analyst to design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS data, applications, and geoprocessing solutions. You will lead technical efforts, automate spatial workflows, and coordinate with contractors to meet project objectives.

The role requires advanced ArcGIS Pro expertise, scripting in Python/SQL, and experience in an SDE environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3 years GIS experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-user geodatabase versioning and ArcGIS Pro extensions (spatial, 3D Analyst).
• Experience with ArcGIS Online/Enterprise and ESRI Portal.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Arcade; scripting & automation.
• Familiarity with data management, GIS web apps, and ESRI’s machine learning tools.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, design, develop and maintain complex GIS databases and feature sets.
• Automate data capture, conversion and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate external contractors and manage project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and lead GIS team members.
• Develop programmatic solutions for map and data requests.
