Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of Core Experience or Design and Release experience.
• Chassis engineering experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Management of global core quality documents (Requirements, Design Rules, Functional Specifications, DFMEA, SCCAF, etc.)
• Apply engineering disciplines for failure mode avoidance and analysis (8D, 14D, 3L5W).
• Manage and perform DVP&R / sign off documentation reviews.
• Manage and perform CDP&R / sign off documentation reviews.
• Lead supplier development initiatives and manage supply base.
• Interface with Ford Purchasing, STA, Design Engineering, Design Studio, Materials Engineering, D&R Application teams, and VOME.
