Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage and grow client relationships, develop insurance strategies, and oversee submissions, renewals, and negotiations. The role partners with internal teams and carriers to deliver exceptional service, with a focus on retention and revenue growth.

This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule from our South Burlington, VT office or remote work, with standard hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Typically more than 5 years industry and product line experience.
• Applied Epic preferred.
• P&C Insurance License required.
• CIC, CPCU or other P&C designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage, limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
• Coordinate with Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients.
• Maintain accurate information including exposures, driver details, forms and endorsements to avoid E&O claims.
• Keep a diary/follow-up system to ensure policies and endorsements are updated.
• May supervise daily activities of Account Managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and visits.
