Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage a construction-focused commercial insurance book. You will build strong client and carrier relationships, prepare proposals, and oversee exposure data to prevent E&O issues.

Hybrid work is offered, with offices in Danbury, CT and surrounding areas. The role requires 5+ years in commercial lines with middle-market experience, and a license in P&C insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Lines experience with a retail brokerage or independent agency.
• Experience managing a middle-market book (revenue minimum of 1 Million).
• Experience servicing construction-related clients: GC, trades, developers.
• Knowledge of general liability, workers' comp, commercial auto, umbrella, builders risk.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; EPIC CRM experience preferred.
• P&C Insurance license required; CIC/CPCU/ARM or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
• Prepare client proposals from carrier quotes reflecting coverage and pricing.
• Maintain accurate exposure data and client information to avoid E&O claims.
• Supervise or direct daily activities of Coordinators and Account Managers.
